Justworks Ranks on List of Companies With the Best Employee Experience for Three Years Running
NEW YORK – October 18, 2018 – Justworks, the fastest growing HR technology company, was recognized today as one of Fortune Magazine’s Best Small & Medium Workplaces in 2018. In collaboration with Fortune, Great Place to Work,® a research and consulting firm, analyzed anonymous survey feedback from nearly 112,000 U.S. employees across 50 distinct elements of their experience on the job. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies who best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization.
Surveyed responses covered the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team. Justworks’ values-based culture secured the 53rd spot on the 2018 list, making this the company’s third appearance in just as many years.
“Earning a spot on this list for three years running is no small achievement, especially for a six-year-old company,” said Kirsten Behncke Colyer, Vice President of People & Talent at Justworks. “Ranking in 2018 feels particularly important because of our rapid growth. Even as we’ve expanded offices, hired more than 200 new people, and rolled out new processes at scale, the fact that 96% of our team gave us top marks as part of the survey is a testament to our values of camaraderie, openness, grit, integrity, and simplicity grounding everything we do — starting with how we take care of our people. By fostering a transparent, open, and motivated environment for employees at all levels and across teams, we’ve built a culture that resonates with the modern workforce. Being recognized again as one of Fortune’s Best Small & Medium Workplaces is a real validation of our approach.”
This year, Justworks was recertified for the fourth time as a Great Place to Work (2018-2019), named a Best Workplace in Technology, selected as one of Mogul’s Top Workplaces for Millennial Women, and ranked #2 on the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For in 2018 list. Last year, Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE ranked Justworks in 2017 as a Small & Medium Workplace, a Best Workplace in New York, and a Best Workplace in Technology.
“When it comes to revenue growth and innovation, the 2018 Best Small & Medium Workplaces continue to outperform their peers making these companies more competitive and helping them secure their position in the marketplace,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “What these companies do differently than their peers is that they offer a great workplace for all employees, regardless of role or personal traits.”
